The Toronto Police Service Human Trafficking Enforcement Team has arrested a man and woman as part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation.

In July of 2021, members of the Toronto Police Service Human Trafficking Enforcement Team commenced an investigation into a Human Trafficking occurrence and identified two suspects.

On Monday, November 1, 2021, Julianna Fodor, 23, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Exercise Control over Person
2) Advertising Another Person's Sexual Services
3) Material Benefit from Sexual Services Provided

She is next scheduled for court at Toronto North Courts on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, room 301.

On Tuesday, December 21, 2021, Soreeysa Abdi, 27, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Exercise Control over Person
2) Advertising Another Person's Sexual Services
3) Material Benefit from Sexual Services Provided

He is next scheduled for court at Toronto North Courts on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, room 301.

The Toronto Police Service is appealing to the public to come forward with any new information pertaining to this man and woman.

Photographs of the accused have been released.

Police are concerned there may be more victims as well as witnesses.

Police would like to encourage all affected individuals to come forward and report Human Trafficking occurrences to police. We want to make sure that everyone has access to support services and an exit strategy, regardless of their decision to proceed criminally.
